Neighbourhood Plan

The Parish Council are proposing to develop a Neighbourhood Plan for the village. This will give us, as a parish, a stronger say on what development takes place in the village. Once adopted, a neighbourhood plan forms part of the Development Plan, for the specific area it covers. The policies contained within them will be used in the determination of Planning Applications. However, as neighbourhood plans form part of the Shropshire development plan, they must be in general conformity with the strategic policies within the wider development plan.

It also means we, as a Parish, will receive a larger share of the CIL money that developers are levied as part of their development.

Developing a Neighbourhood plan is a formal and legal process and must be done with community involvement. We hope you will take just a minute to complete this initial questionnaire so that we can collect your views on what you value in our community , and also so that we can demonstrate that we are being led by you, our community, in developing the plan.

Tell us what Bomere Heath means to you and what you value in our community!

We would like to make sure we collect views from a full cross-section of the people living in Bomere Heath so, if you are happy to do so, please tell us a few details of who you are.
