This is to let you know that a new night bus trial will be launching in Shrewsbury Town Centre on 24th November, for one month until 23rd December.

As you know, the lack of evening buses is a big issue for many constituents who rely on public transport for work, family and social commitments.
Upon my election, I established the Shrewsbury Transport Integration Group (STIG) to bring local transport stakeholders together in order to increase our public transport services.
Working together we have supported a local bus operator, Arriva to run an additional service, with funding secured from the Big Town Partnership.
I am delighted that this means we will now have buses running on three major routes - the N11 to Bicton Heath, the N25 to Harlescott and the N27 to Meole and Bayston Hill for a one month trial.
It will be an hourly service between 8pm and midnight. Here is a link to the timetables: https://original-shrewsbury.files.svdcdn.com/production/assets/images/Shrewsbury-Evening-Bus-timetables-Arriva-as-of-Nov-24-2025.pdf?dm=1762857775
I hope you will consider making the most of these new bus services, as I plan to, since our participation will help strengthen the data-led case for making them a permanent feature and expanding to additional areas.
