Leaton level crossing renewal

We wanted to let you know that we’ll soon be working in the Leaton area to renew the level crossing, helping to maintain a safe and reliable railway.
We’ll be working a mixture of day and night shifts listed below when trains aren’t operating, so our teams can work safely, but please be aware these dates may change.

  • Saturday 24 January – Monday 26 January
  • 12:30am – 5:15am (Continuous work)
  • Saturday 31 January – Monday 2 February
  • 12:30am - 5:15am (Continuous work)

Please be aware, during this work, our level crossing will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from 11:30pm on Friday 23 January until 5:15am on Monday 26 January, and also from 11:30pm on Friday 30 January until 5:15am Monday 2 February, please see vehicle diversion overleaf. This closure will impact train services, please check before you travel at https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/.

The nature of our work often means noise is unavoidable. We’re aware we’ll be working close to your home and will try to minimise this as much as possible, but we’re sorry for disturbing you.
